TREC Ireland Open Championships

TREC Ireland is pleased to invite all competitors to Quin, Co. Clare from the 22nd to the 24th of May for the TREC Ireland Open Championships 2015. This competition includes a FITE European Cup class (Level 4) as well as qualifier classes for the TREC GB Championships of Great Britain 14th to 16th August 2015.

The competition will be held from Creevagh Stables, Quin, Co. Clare. Creevagh Stables is a new establishment owned by Tommy Considine. Competitors can expect to be riding across varied terrain which will include quiet country roads, tracks, fields, multi-use paths, forestry paths. We must stress the need to keep gates closed and to ensure that you follow the Country Code.

Entries received and paid up to 15th May 2015 are at prices stated below.

For entries received between the 16th May 2015 and the 20th May 2015 there is an additional charge of €5.

Entries will not be accepted after the 20th May 2015.

Class 1: Level 1 Pairs

Maximum distance POR: 15km

Maximum height PTV: 60cm

Class 2: Level 2 Pairs

Maximum distance POR: 25km

Maximum height PTV: 80cm

Class 3: Level 2 Individuals

Maximum distance POR: 25km

Maximum height PTV: 80cm

Class 4: Level 3 Pairs

Maximum distance POR: 35km

Maximum height PTV: 90cm

May include compass bearings, grid references and/or aerial photos.

Class 5: Level 3 Individuals

Maximum distance POR: 35km

Maximum height PTV: 90cm

May include compass bearings, grid references and/or aerial photos.

Class 6: Level 4 Individuals – FITE European Cup

Maximum distance POR: 45km

Maximum height PTV: 1.10m

May include compass bearings, grid references and/ or aerial photos.

Class 7: Team Competition. (Entries by 8pm on Friday 22nd May 2015, entry is €5 per rider).

Class 8: Veteran class: Horses over 20 and/or Riders over 60

Class 9: TREC GB Qualifier for Championships of Great Britain 2015. Levels 2, 3 and 4 included. Maximum heights and distances are as specified in the TREC GB rules. Riders must be fully paid up BHS Gold Members or have evidence of the equivalent insurance. Riders must have a Riders Licence in accordance with TREC GB rules.
