Turas Trec was lucky and had a beautiful weather for it's debut event as a new Trec Group at Tulla, Co.Clare. It was a training POR, which was organised to get the groups trec riders ready for the up coming nationals in Kells in a fortnight. THe Turas horses looked fit and on their game as they tackled the hills and forestry of Tulla. The Grid Reference section was challenging and provided the upper level riders with the opportunity to refine their skills. We would like to give a special thanks to Derek and Pauline Burke who generously donated their facilities and to local horseman, Johnny Mulconroy who's local knowledge of the land was invaluable. We are also grateful for Karen Nicholson, our technical delegate who's expertise helped us overcome all our setbacks from the land conditions.
